England Basketball has recognised the quality development work of SLAM! Basketball and have awarded our Basketball Club 2-Star EB Accreditation.
The accreditation recognises SLAM!'s commitment to:
1. Increasing particiapation through our work with local schools and youth organisations, within the Wolverhampton
2. Providing safe environments for individuals to develop their basketball abilities
3. Developing capacity building opportunites through our community sports coaching/officiating and volunteering programs

SLAM! (WM) is a sports and education service provider dedicated to tackling under-achievement, educational disengagement and social exclusion amongst young people in the West Midlands. We at SLAM! use a unique mixture of basketball development, sports-based mentoring and life skills coaching to assist young people who are underachieving, academically and/or socially. SLAM!'s mission is to build capacity within the individuals (and communities) through our services.
Our prime focus is of an educational nature, with an additional commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and developing athletic, moral and social ability. This is reflected in our recruitment and staff development of Community & Sports Role Models to deliver our sports development, life-skills coaching and engagement mentoring sessions/events .
