The fourth annual Street Games 2010 Festival will be taking place, on Friday 6th August 2010, this summer. The Festival will bring together young people aged 8 to 18 years, in a multitude of Sports and Street Dance competitions.
SLAM! Basketball will be taking part in the events 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. The Event/Tournament will be an all day affair and will cost £10 per person to enter (for travel and entrance fee only).

SLAM! (WM) is a sports and education service provider dedicated to tackling under-achievement, educational disengagement and social exclusion amongst young people in the West Midlands. We at SLAM! use a unique mixture of basketball development, sports-based mentoring and life skills coaching to assist young people who are underachieving, academically and/or socially. SLAM!'s mission is to build capacity within the individuals (and communities) through our services.
Our prime focus is of an educational nature, with an additional commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and developing athletic, moral and social ability. This is reflected in our recruitment and staff development of Community & Sports Role Models to deliver our sports development, life-skills coaching and engagement mentoring sessions/events .
