‘SLAM! 2 THE STREETS’ is a summer outdoor basketball initiative, running throughout city parks and facilities in the Wolverhampton area. SLAM! 2 THE STREETS will target under-used outdoor basketball facilities promoting the sport to respective communities. A road-show will visit 7 locations (Bantock Park, Graisley Recreation Park, All Saints (Southside Sports), Phoenix Park, Dunstall Community Centre, Pendeford Park and Heath Town Park), consisting of a jamboree of basketball related activities, will be used to engage, entertain and educate (healthy lifestyles and life skills) all participants.

The roadshows will commence Saturday 26th July, with the Basketball Bringing Change Event, and end the 30th August. SLAM! (WM) Ltd and Street Games UK will provide a series of basketball workshops, competitions and games over a 6 week period during the summer.

All participants will be encouraged to attend our open aged sessions at Southside Sports and Pheonix Park. Which will feed into our SLAM/ABCD Outdoor Basketball Initiative and central venue league.
