Academy students will choose from the wide range of academic and vocational courses, offered by OLSC Sports College. Student athletes will be expected to perform in the classroom, as well as on the basketball court. The aim of the Academy is to provide a safe elite-athlete environment similar to that found on mainland Europe and in the United States, where basketball is scheduled in students daily timetables along with their regular classes. Each student will have atleast five-weekly team practices (prior to schooling, lunchtime, curriculum time and/or after school) including a number of individual sessions, depending on scheduling.
